Who's hot/Who's not

Just to see what type of crowd we have here, I am interested in hearing who we all consider to be "hot" in the industry and who we consider to be products of superior marketing and production. I LOVE music, so I am going to be exploring some groups I have not really gotten into based on the feedback I see here. So give your best.

For me, I have to go with Jason Mraz as my guy I am waiting to see really blow up. Amazing voice, writing and musicianship, but for whatever reason, not really getting the props he deserves. Also love Natasha Bedingfield's voice. I've seen Coldplay mentioned and they are definitely hot. Maybe it would be easier to voice your opinions by genre, so to keep the list short and sweet, give me top 3 only in the folloing genres (I know some people are easier to place than others). If there is a genre that you really don't listen to, just skip it.

I enjoy listening to certain types of music. I don't have my favorite rappers that I like listening to because I like listening to Lil Wayne, Lil Bow Wow, Hot Stylz and Young Joc. Their are more but I'm not going to write a whole list. My favorite R&B singer are Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Rhianna, Cassie and more. Their are so many that are my favorite singers. My favorite female group singers are The Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane.

I forgot to list PJ Morton who is one of the most underrated artists period in my humble opinion. Anybody familiar with his work?

I am such an R&B lover. I love the soul music,music that has meaning. I was just listening to some old Blackstreet and thinking they don't make music like this anymore. I love Alicia, Beyonce, Keyshia Cole, Sasha Allen (of course! her voice can't be denied), Lyfe, Fantasia & Brandy. I like that raw soul.
Occasionally I like a few things out the box like Rihanna, Panic at the Disco, Fergie, this is usually one song though.
